Here are some totally unique family portraits of the Logan family in the Mohave Desert. Its' not every day we get to shoot in a unique location like this. Every location presents unique challenges and triumphs. For this session, given the time of the year and location, the golden hour is much more like the 20 min golden window. I shot these photos at about 4:30 pm and within 20 minutes the sun had already dipped behind the mountain range. There was also no clouds or moister in the air, hence the desert, so it was a beautiful crisp golden sun so I had to use a lot of power to bring the natural colors back into my subjects. We knocked out about 100 keepers in less than 25 minutes and I would say by looking at these images, I was able to make my vision for this session come to life.
